Ingredients

- 2 cups apple, peeled and diced
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Cooking spray
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt until combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together milk, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Pour wet ingredients into dry and mix until just combined; fold in diced apples.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Scoop tablespoonfuls of batter into the air fryer basket, leaving space in between.
- Lightly spray fritters with cooking spray.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving and enjoy warm.
Notes
For a gluten-free option, substitute with a gluten-free flour blend. You can also use almond or oat milk instead of regular milk.
