Description

Delicious and easy air fryer apple fritters that are crispy, fluffy, and a delightful treat without the mess of oil frying.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups apple, peeled and diced
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Cooking spray
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt until combined.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together milk, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Pour wet ingredients into dry and mix until just combined; fold in diced apples.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  5. Scoop tablespoonfuls of batter into the air fryer basket, leaving space in between.
  6. Lightly spray fritters with cooking spray.
  7. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown.
  8. Dust with powdered sugar before serving and enjoy warm.

Notes

For a gluten-free option, substitute with a gluten-free flour blend. You can also use almond or oat milk instead of regular milk.
