Description A crispy, saucy, and addictive version of the restaurant favorite Bang Bang Shrimp made in the air fryer.

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup cornstarch
  • 1 large egg white
  • 1½ cups panko bread crumbs
  • 1 lb medium-sized raw shrimp, deveined, tails off
  • Cooking spray or olive oil
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 2 teaspoons Sriracha (to taste)
  • Sliced green onion for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix cornstarch and egg white until smooth.
  3. Dredge shrimp in cornstarch mixture, then coat with panko breadcrumbs.
  4. Spray shrimp lightly with cooking spray or olive oil.
  5. Arrange shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  6. Air fry for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
  7. In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and Sriracha until smooth.
  8. Toss cooked shrimp in the Bang Bang sauce.
  9. Garnish with sliced green onion and serve immediately.
