Description
A crispy, saucy, and addictive version of the restaurant favorite Bang Bang Shrimp made in the air fryer.
Ingredients

- ¼ cup cornstarch
- 1 large egg white
- 1½ cups panko bread crumbs
- 1 lb medium-sized raw shrimp, deveined, tails off
- Cooking spray or olive oil
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
- 2 teaspoons Sriracha (to taste)
- Sliced green onion for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix cornstarch and egg white until smooth.
- Dredge shrimp in cornstarch mixture, then coat with panko breadcrumbs.
- Spray shrimp lightly with cooking spray or olive oil.
- Arrange shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Air fry for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
- In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and Sriracha until smooth.
- Toss cooked shrimp in the Bang Bang sauce.
- Garnish with sliced green onion and serve immediately.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Can be frozen for up to 1 month; re-crisp in air fryer.
