Description
Bright, crispy, and unexpectedly addictive, these air fryer cabbage wedges turn humble cabbage into a snack or side that disappears fast.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 head of cabbage, cut into wedges
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Remove any bruised or wilted outer leaves from the cabbage. Rinse under cool water and thoroughly pat dry with a clean towel.
- Cut the cabbage in half through the core, then cut into quarters and into 2–3 smaller wedges, ensuring each wedge retains a portion of the core.
- In a small bowl, combine garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir until well mixed.
- Drizzle the olive oil over the cabbage wedges and sprinkle the spice blend. Toss to coat each wedge evenly.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Place seasoned cabbage wedges in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 15 minutes.
- Flip each wedge and cook for an additional 10–15 minutes until golden brown and fork-tender.
- Transfer wedges to a serving platter and garnish as desired. Serve immediately.
Notes
For best results, avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket and ensure wedges are cut to a uniform thickness.
