Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb (450 g) green beans, tough ends removed
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (sea salt preferred)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons homemade chili oil (optional)

- Mince garlic and set aside.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 5 minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine green beans, minced garlic, olive oil, and sea salt. Toss to coat.
- Arrange green beans in a single layer in the air fryer basket and cook for 8 minutes.
- Shake the basket vigorously for 10-15 seconds to redistribute the beans.
- Return to the air fryer and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes until crisp-tender.
- Transfer to a serving dish, garnish with lemon juice or red pepper flakes if desired, and toss with soy sauce and chili oil.
- Serve immediately or store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days.
Notes
Leftovers can be reheated in the air fryer to restore crispness. Follow tips for preventing garlic from burning and maintaining crispness.
