Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups peeled and diced apples
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 1 tablespoon milk (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, mix melted butter, milk, and eggs until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just mixed. Fold in the diced apples.
  5. Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan, then add a layer of cinnamon sugar if desired, followed by the remaining batter.
