- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder

- 1 cup milk
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups peeled and diced apples
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
- 1 tablespoon milk (for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- In another bowl, mix melted butter, milk, and eggs until well combined.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just mixed. Fold in the diced apples.
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan, then add a layer of cinnamon sugar if desired, followed by the remaining batter.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- For the glaze, mix powdered sugar with milk until smooth and drizzle over the bread after it cools.
