Description

A warm and hearty casserole featuring seasoned ground beef, garden-fresh vegetables, and creamy goodness, all baked under a gooey blanket of melted cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 2 cups assorted vegetables (carrots, corn, green beans)
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup cooked rice or pasta (optional)
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or your favorite)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef with chopped onion and minced garlic. Season with salt, pepper, and thyme.
  3. Stir in the assorted vegetables and cook until tender.
  4. Mix in the cream of mushroom soup and optional cooked rice or pasta.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and spread evenly.
  6. Top with a generous layer of shredded cheese.
  7. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes
