Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon instant yeast
  • 1 ½ cups warm water
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. In a big bowl, combine the flour, salt, sugar, and yeast.
  2. Pour in the warm water and olive oil, mixing until a shaggy dough forms.
  3. Add the minced garlic and chopped rosemary, mixing until well combined.
  4. Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  5. Place the dough in an oiled bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise for about an hour until doubled in size.
  6. Once risen, punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf or round ball.
  7. Place on a parchment-lined baking tray, cover, and let rise for another 30 minutes while preheating the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  8. Make a few slashes on top of the dough with a sharp knife.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Let cool before slicing and enjoy!
