Ingredients

  • 2 ripe but firm pears, halved and cored
  • 2 tablespoons butter (optional, for roasting)
  • 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
  • 2 tablespoons dried cranberries
  • 2 – 3 tablespoons honey (plus extra for drizzling)
  • A pinch of cinnamon (optional)
  • Fresh rosemary (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients and preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Halve the pears and scoop out the cores, placing them cut-side up in a baking dish. Brush cut sides with melted butter if desired.
  3. Bake the pears for 20-25 minutes until tender but not mushy.
  4. Remove from oven and sprinkle each pear half with feta, nuts, cranberries, and drizzle with honey.
  5. Broil for an additional 5 minutes or just 1-2 minutes until toppings caramelize, keeping a close eye.
  6. Serve warm, garnished with extra honey and fresh rosemary if desired.
