- 2 ripe but firm pears, halved and cored
- 2 tablespoons butter (optional, for roasting)
- 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
- 2 tablespoons dried cranberries
- 2–3 tablespoons honey (plus extra for drizzling)
- A pinch of cinnamon (optional)
- Fresh rosemary (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- Gather all ingredients and preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Halve the pears and scoop out the cores, placing them cut-side up in a baking dish. Brush cut sides with melted butter if desired.
- Bake the pears for 20-25 minutes until tender but not mushy.
- Remove from oven and sprinkle each pear half with feta, nuts, cranberries, and drizzle with honey.
- Broil for an additional 5 minutes or just 1-2 minutes until toppings caramelize, keeping a close eye.
- Serve warm, garnished with extra honey and fresh rosemary if desired.
