Description

Delicious and simple baked turkey tacos, perfect for weeknight dinners or gatherings.


Ingredients

  • Flour tortillas
  • Ground turkey
  • Black beans
  • Green chiles
  • Seasonings (cumin, chili powder, salt, pepper)
  • Cheese (optional)
  • Avocado (for sauce)
  • Lime juice (for sauce)
  • Salt (for sauce)
  • Sour cream or yogurt (optional, for sauce)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook ground turkey over medium heat until browned.
  3. Add black beans, green chiles, and seasonings to the skillet and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  4. Fill each flour tortilla with the turkey mixture and place them in a baking dish.
  5. Top with cheese if using.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes until tortillas are crispy.
  7. For the avocado sauce, blend avocado, lime juice, salt, and optional sour cream until smooth.
  8. Serve tacos with avocado sauce on the side.
