Ingredients

- 1 lb beef (sliced thinly)
- 4 cups broccoli florets
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooked rice for serving
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine sliced beef with soy sauce and cornstarch. Let marinate for 15 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
- Add the marinated beef and stir-fry until browned. Remove beef from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, add broccoli and a bit of water. Cover and steam for 2-3 minutes.
- Return beef to the pan with the broccoli. Stir-fry together for an additional 2-3 minutes, adding salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot over cooked rice.
Notes
For optimal tenderness, consider using flank or sirloin cuts of beef. Add a splash of oyster sauce for extra richness.
