Description
A comforting casserole that combines biscuits, breakfast sausage, eggs, milk, and cheddar cheese, baked to golden perfection.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 package refrigerated biscuits
- 1 pound breakfast sausage
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the breakfast sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned and crumbly. Drain excess grease.
- In a large bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until smooth.
- Cut the biscuits into quarters and place them in a greased baking dish.
- Spread the cooked sausage over the biscuits and pour the egg mixture over the top. Press gently to help the biscuits absorb the custard.
- Sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until the casserole is set and the biscuits are golden brown. Serve warm.
