Ingredients

  • 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup fresh or frozen blueberries, thawed and drained
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the thawed puff pastry and cut it into 4 equal rectangles.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract; mix until smooth.
  4. Spread 1 tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture along one side of each pastry rectangle.
  5. Scatter blueberries over the cream cheese mixture.
  6. Tightly roll the pastry starting from the filled side and seal the edge.
  7. Brush each roll with the beaten egg.
  8. Bake for 16–18 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Let cool slightly and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
