  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk melted butter and granulated sugar until smooth.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, stirring in vanilla extract until combined.
  5. Fold in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder until just combined.
  6. Spread the brownie mixture evenly in the prepared pan.
  7. Bake for 20 minutes, then let cool slightly.
  8. In another bowl, beat softened cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  9. Gradually add eggs for the cheesecake, mixing on low speed.
  10. Fold in vanilla extract and sour cream.
  11. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the brownie base, spreading evenly.
  12. Bake for 45-50 minutes until cheesecake is set in the center.
  13. Let cool in the oven with the door ajar for 1 hour.
  14. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  15. For the ganache, heat heavy cream until steaming, pour over chocolate chips, stir until smooth.
  16. Drizzle ganache over the chilled cheesecake and garnish as desired.
