Description
A comforting twist on a classic creamy pasta featuring spicy Cajun chicken over broccoli and fettuccine in a rich Parmesan cream sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook fettuccine according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add chicken breasts coated in Cajun seasoning and cook until fully cooked and browned, about 5–7 minutes per side. Remove chicken and let rest, then slice.
- In the same skillet, add broccoli and sauté until crisp-tender, about 3–4 minutes.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and sauce thickens.
- Toss cooked pasta and broccoli in the sauce. Add sliced chicken on top. Season with salt and pepper. Serve hot.
Notes
For a lighter version, swap half-and-half or whole milk for the heavy cream and reduce the butter by half. Pair with a crisp salad and garlic bread.
