Ingredients

  • 1 lb smoked sausage, sliced
  • 1 cup rice
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add sliced smoked sausage and cook until browned.
  3. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until softened.
  4. Stir in diced bell peppers and cook for a few minutes.
  5. Add rice, Cajun seasoning, and chicken broth, bringing to a boil.
