Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz pasta
- 1 lb Cajun sausage, sliced

- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheese (such as cheddar or Monterey Jack)
- 2 tsp Cajun seasoning

- Add the diced onion, bell pepper, and minced garlic to the skillet, and sauté for another 3-5 minutes until vegetables are softened.
- Stir in the Cajun seasoning and mix well.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Allow it to cook for a few minutes until slightly thickened.
- Add the cooked pasta and shredded cheese to the skillet, stirring until the cheese is melted and everything is well combined.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.
Notes
Adjust the level of spice by choosing a mild or hot Cajun sausage. For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
