- 1 box cake mix (any flavor)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup toffee bits
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mix together the cake mix, melted butter, and eggs until well combined.
- Fold in the toffee bits and optional chocolate chips and nuts.
- Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking pan.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the edges are golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before cutting into bars.
Notes
For softer bars, slightly underbake by a minute or two. Optional: line the baking pan with parchment paper for easier removal.
