Delicious cake mix toffee bars that are easy to make and sure to impress. Chewy center with pockets of toffee and chocolate.
Ingredients

- 1 box of cake mix (any flavor)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup toffee bits
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, melted butter, and egg. Stir until fully moistened to form a cohesive dough.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and toffee bits. If using, add the nuts and mix until evenly distributed.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan, pressing it evenly into the pan.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes until edges are golden and a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
- Allow to cool completely on a wire rack before cutting into bars.
Notes
For a softer, chewier bar, bake for around 20 minutes. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
