  • 3 cups grated apples
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 cup salted caramel buttercream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a cake pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In another large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just combined. Fold in the grated apples.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool completely before frosting with salted caramel buttercream and drizzling with homemade salted caramel sauce.
