- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups grated apples
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1 cup salted caramel buttercream
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a cake pan.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
- In another large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just combined. Fold in the grated apples.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool completely before frosting with salted caramel buttercream and drizzling with homemade salted caramel sauce.
