Delightful dessert bars that combine creamy cheesecake, sweet apples, and rich caramel, perfect for gatherings and fall celebrations.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups finely chopped apples
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9 inch baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar, and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan to form a crust.
  3. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and 1 cup sugar until smooth. Add the eggs, one at a time, then mix in the vanilla extract.
  4. Fold in the chopped apples and cinnamon. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the crust in the pan.
  5. Drizzle caramel sauce on top of the cheesecake mixture and use a knife to swirl it in.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the center is set.
  7. Allow to cool, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours before slicing into bars. Enjoy!

Notes

Serve chilled; can be topped with extra caramel sauce or whipped cream for enhanced flavor.
