Description
A cozy no-bake dessert featuring layers of warm spiced apples, silky caramel, and whipped cream, perfect for fall gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 2 cups spiced apples (diced or sliced)
- 1 cup whipped cream or cream cheese filling
- 1 package of mini dessert cups or small cups
- Cinnamon (for garnish)
- Chopped nuts or granola (optional, for topping)
Instructions
- Prepare the spiced apples: In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine apples with butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Cook until apples are tender, about 6-8 minutes.
- Allow the spiced apples to cool slightly.
- Add a tablespoon of caramel sauce to the bottom of each mini dessert cup.
- Layer with spiced apples, pressing lightly.
- Spoon or pipe the whipped cream or cream cheese filling over the apples.
- If desired, repeat the layers with more caramel, apples, and cream.
- Drizzle with extra caramel, sprinkle cinnamon, and add crunchy toppings, if using.
- Chill for 15-30 minutes before serving, or serve warm after assembling the bottom layers.
Notes
For longer-lasting cream stability, consider using stabilized whipped cream or a cream cheese filling. The spiced apples can be made ahead and refrigerated.
