Description

Delicious caramel-dappled apples tucked into flaky puff pastry, perfect for a cozy treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 23 medium apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into squares.
  3. In a bowl, mix the sliced apples with sugar and cinnamon.
  4. Place a spoonful of the apple mixture in the center of each pastry square.
  5. Drizzle a little caramel sauce over the apples.
  6. Fold the pastry over to form a triangle and seal the edges with a fork.
  7. Brush the tops with beaten egg.
  8. Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Serve warm with additional caramel sauce drizzled on top.

Notes

Best served warm with ice cream or extra caramel sauce. Can be stored at room temperature for 1-2 days.
