Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and cook, stirring occasionally, for about 15-20 minutes, until caramelized.
- Add the minced garlic and cook for another 2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in the vegetable broth and balsamic vinegar, stirring to combine. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Toss the cooked pasta with the caramelized onion mixture, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve warm, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
Notes
For the best flavor, allow the onions to caramelize fully. Feel free to experiment with different types of pasta or add vegetables for more variety.
