Description

Deliciously cheesy garlic bread, perfect as a side dish for any meal.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 810 garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Pinch of salt
  • Roasted garlic from above
  • ½ cup butter, melted (113g)
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ cup milk (60g)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • 12 King’s Hawaiian Original Hawaiian Sheet Rolls (or French baguette)
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Chopped parsley and chili flakes for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut tops off garlic cloves, drizzle with olive oil and a pinch of salt, then wrap in foil.
  3. Roast in the oven for 30-35 minutes until soft, then let cool and squeeze out the roasted garlic.
  4. In a bowl, mix melted butter, roasted garlic, egg, milk, salt, paprika, and chopped parsley until well combined.
  5. Place sheet rolls or baguette on a baking sheet.
  6. Pour the garlic butter mixture over the rolls evenly.
  7. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
  8. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly and golden brown.

Notes

Serve hot, and feel free to sprinkle with chopped parsley and chili flakes for added flavor.
