Description
This cheesy potato and sausage bake is seasoned with ranch and roasted to golden perfection. An easy, hearty one-pan dish loaded with flavor and melted cheddar.

- 1 pound baby potatoes or 4–5 medium potatoes, diced
- 14 oz smoked sausage (kielbasa or andouille), sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix (or homemade)
- 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup sour cream (optional)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon paprika (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley and green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or grease it lightly.
- Prep ingredients: Dice the potatoes and slice the sausage into rounds.
- In a large bowl, toss potatoes and sausage with olive oil, ranch seasoning, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Spread the mixture in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Roast for 25–30 minutes, or until potatoes are golden brown and tender.
- Remove from oven and sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
- Return to oven and bake for an additional 5–7 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley, green onions, and a dollop of sour cream if desired.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
Swap smoked sausage with turkey sausage or chicken sausage if preferred. Add diced bell peppers for extra color and flavor.
