Description

A comforting casserole that combines shredded turkey, broccoli, and cheese in a delicious one-dish meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups leftover turkey, shredded
  • 2 cups broccoli florets, steamed
  • 1 cup cooked rice or pasta
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional, for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the shredded turkey, steamed broccoli, cooked rice or pasta, half of the cheese, cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle the remaining cheese and breadcrumbs on top, if using.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and golden on top.
  6. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding sautéed onions or bell peppers.
