Description A crunchy and creamy snack that combines Chex cereal with cherry and cream cheese, perfect for a quick dessert or potluck treat.

Ingredients

  • 6 cups Chex cereal
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup cherry flavored candy melts
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup cherry pie filling
  • Sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, measure out the Chex cereal and set aside.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the white chocolate chips and cream cheese. Heat in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until melted and smooth.
  3. Drizzle the melted mixture over the Chex cereal and stir to coat evenly.
  4. In another bowl, melt the cherry candy melts according to package instructions. Once melted, drizzle over the coated Chex and stir to combine.
  5. In a large sealable plastic bag, add the powdered sugar. Once the Chex is coated, transfer it to the bag and shake until evenly coated with powdered sugar.
  6. If desired, add sprinkles for an extra touch.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy at potlucks or as a sweet snack!
