6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
10 oz mini marshmallows
3 tbsp unsalted butter
1/2 cup maraschino cherries, chopped
2 tbsp maraschino cherry juice from the jar
1/2 tsp almond extract (optional)
1/2 cup white chocolate chips (optional for drizzle or mix-in)

Prepare a 9×9 inch pan by lining it with parchment paper or greasing it lightly.
In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter carefully.
