6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
10 oz mini marshmallows
3 tbsp unsalted butter
½ cup maraschino cherries, chopped
2 tbsp maraschino cherry juice
½ tsp almond extract (optional)
½ cup white chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions
Prepare a 9×9-inch pan by lining it with parchment paper or lightly greasing it.
In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.
Stir in the marshmallows and cook, stirring constantly, until fully melted.
Add the cherry juice and almond extract, stirring until the mixture turns a lovely pink.
Remove from heat and quickly stir in the Rice Krispies cereal until well coated.
Fold in the chopped maraschino cherries and optional white chocolate chips.
Pour the mixture into the prepared pan. Press gently and evenly with a buttered spatula or parchment paper.
Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.
