Instructions
- Bring Ingredients to Room Temperature – Take the butter and eggs out of the refrigerator at least 1-2 hours before baking.
- Sift Dry Ingredients – Whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl.
- Prepare Your Baking Sheets – Line two baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone mats.
- Cream Butter and Sugars – Beat softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in a stand mixer on medium speed for 3–5 minutes.
- Add Eggs and Vanilla – With the mixer on low, add eggs one at a time, then the vanilla extract.
- Gradually Incorporate Dry Ingredients – Reduce mixer speed to low and add the flour mixture gradually until just combined.
