- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda

- 1 cup dried cranberries
- 1 tablespoon orange zest
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until just combined.
- Fold in the dried cranberries, orange zest, and white chocolate chips if you are using them.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for about a week. For longer storage, freeze using parchment paper between layers.
