Description

A festive, non-alcoholic mocktail that combines cranberry and lime flavors for a sparkling holiday drink.


Ingredients

  • 2 ounces cranberry juice
  • 1 ounce fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 ounce simple syrup
  • Sparkling water or lemon-lime soda for topping
  • Fresh cranberries for garnish
  • Lime wedge for garnish
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish
  • Coarse salt or sugar for rimming
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. On a shallow plate, spread coarse salt or sugar for rimming. Dip the rim of a glass into cranberry juice, then into the salt or sugar, twisting to coat.
  2. Rinse fresh cranberries and mint leaves. Prepare garnishes on a cocktail pick if desired.
  3. In a cocktail shaker, combine cranberry juice, fresh lime juice, and simple syrup.
  4. Fill the shaker with ice, secure the lid, and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds.
  5. Strain into the prepared glass and top with sparkling water or lemon-lime soda.
  6. Garnish with fresh cranberries, mint, and a lime wedge. Serve immediately.

Notes

Use fresh lime juice for the best flavor. Chill the glass before serving.
