- 1 cup Butter
- 12 oz Chocolate Chips
- Saltine Crackers
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Line a 9×13-inch pan with foil for easy cleanup. Place one layer of Saltine crackers in the pan and set it aside.
- In a saucepan, combine the butter and brown sugar. Bring this mixture to a rolling boil and cook for 3 minutes while stirring constantly.
- Pour the toffee mixture over the Saltine crackers in the pan and bake in the oven for 7 minutes.
- After baking, remove the pan from the oven and sprinkle the chocolate chips over the hot cracker base.
- Spread the melting chocolate evenly, like icing, and add any toppings you desire.
- Refrigerate the mixture to cool, then break into pieces and enjoy!
