Description

Churro Saltine Toffee is a delightful twist on traditional toffee, combining crunchy Saltine crackers with sweet caramel and a sprinkle of cinnamon sugar to bring the beloved churro flavor right into your kitchen.

  • 1 package Saltine crackers
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and arrange the Saltine crackers in a single layer.
  3. In a saucepan, melt the butter and brown sugar together over medium heat, stirring until smooth.
  4. Bring the mixture to a boil and let it boil for 3-4 minutes, stirring frequently.
  5. Pour the caramel over the Saltine crackers, spreading it evenly.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 5-7 minutes.
  7. Remove from the oven and sprinkle the white chocolate chips on top. Let them sit for a few minutes until melted, then spread the chocolate evenly.
  8. In a small bowl, mix the cinnamon and sugar together. Sprinkle this mixture over the melted chocolate.
  9. Allow to cool completely before breaking into pieces. Enjoy!
