A bold, herb-and-garlic compound butter that enhances the flavor of grilled meats and vegetables.
Ingredients

- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh chives, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, chives, thyme, cayenne pepper, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice.
- Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well integrated.
- Transfer the mixture onto a piece of parchment paper and shape it into a log.
- Wrap the parchment paper tightly around the log, twisting the ends to seal.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour or until firm.
- Slice and serve on top of grilled steak, roasted chicken, or seafood.
Notes
Store in the refrigerator for up to 1-2 weeks or freeze for up to 3 months. For best flavor, use fresh herbs.
