- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 packet (1 ounce) ranch seasoning mix
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (divided)
- 1/2 cup cooked beef bacon, crumbled
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the softened cream cheese, sour cream, milk, and ranch seasoning mix until smooth.
- Fold in the cooked chicken and 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese until combined.
- Spoon the chicken mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
- Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese over the top.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until bubbly and golden brown.
- Let rest for 5–10 minutes, then garnish with crumbled bacon and green onions before serving.
Notes
For a Southwestern twist, add corn and poblano pepper, and use pepper jack cheese.
