Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp dried dill (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 cup sliced banana peppers, drained and chopped
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook chicken until fully cooked, then shred and set aside.
  2. Beat softened cream cheese until light and fluffy.
  3. Add sour cream and mayonnaise to the cream cheese, mixing until smooth.
  4. Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, dill, cayenne, salt, and pepper.
  5. Chop and drain banana peppers, then fold into the cream cheese mixture.
  6. Add shredded chicken and fold in cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses.
  7. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease baking dish.
  8. Spoon mixture into the dish, sprinkle with remaining cheeses.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
  10. Let cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
