- 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp dried dill (optional)
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 cup sliced banana peppers, drained and chopped
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Cook chicken until fully cooked, then shred and set aside.
- Beat softened cream cheese until light and fluffy.
- Add sour cream and mayonnaise to the cream cheese, mixing until smooth.
- Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, dill, cayenne, salt, and pepper.
- Chop and drain banana peppers, then fold into the cream cheese mixture.
- Add shredded chicken and fold in cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease baking dish.
- Spoon mixture into the dish, sprinkle with remaining cheeses.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
- Let cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
Notes
Use rotisserie chicken for a quicker prep. Adjust spice level to your preference.
