Description

A no-churn ice cream combining creamy sweetness with tart cherry goodness and dark chocolate.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups pitted and chopped fresh cherries
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar (optional)
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chopped dark chocolate

Instructions

  1. Cook the cherries in a saucepan with sugar (if using) for 5-7 minutes until tender, then cool.
  2. Whip the heavy cream in a bowl until stiff peaks form.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the sweetened condensed milk with vanilla extract.
  4. Fold the whipped cream into the condensed milk mixture gently.
  5. Fold in half the cooked cherries and chopped chocolate.
  6. Swirl in the remaining cherries for texture.
  7. Pour into a loaf pan, cover, and freeze for at least 6 hours or until set.

Notes
