Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, being careful not to burn it.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine.
  5. Add dried oregano and return the chicken to the skillet. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes, until the sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve.

Notes

Use fresh garlic for the best flavor. For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half or a non-dairy alternative.
