Ingredients
2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
8 oz rotini pasta
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup heavy cream
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon fresh chopped parsley (optional)

Instructions
Trim and pat dry the chicken breasts. Season both sides generously with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear the seasoned chicken for 5-6 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and let it rest.
Boil the rotini pasta according to package directions. Once done, drain and toss with a little butter to prevent sticking.
In the same skillet, add butter and minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds or until fragrant.
Add heavy cream to the skillet and simmer for 3-4 minutes. Gradually stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth.
Slice the rested chicken into strips. Toss the cooked pasta in the creamy sauce until fully coated.
Plate the pasta, then top with the sliced chicken. Drizzle with extra sauce if desired, and garnish with fresh chopped parsley.
