Description

A creamy one-pot pasta dish with ground beef, garlic, onion, Italian seasoning, Parmesan, and a rich cream sauce. Comforting and quick to make.

For the Pasta:

  • 8 oz penne or spaghetti

For the Sauce:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ½ cup beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated

Optional Garnish:

  • Fresh chopped parsley
  • Red pepper flakes for spice

Instructions

  1. Brown the Beef: Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook 5–7 minutes until browned, breaking into crumbles.
  2. Sauté Onion & Garlic: Add onion, cook 3–4 minutes until soft. Stir in garlic and cook 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Season: Mix in Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Add Broth & Cream: Pour in beef broth, deglaze pan. Stir in heavy cream and simmer gently.
  5. Cook Pasta: Add dry pasta to skillet, stir to submerge. Cover and simmer 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is al dente and sauce thickens.
  6. Add Parmesan: Stir in Parmesan until melted and creamy.
  7. Garnish & Serve: Top with parsley and optional red pepper flakes. Serve hot with garlic bread or salad.

Notes

For extra richness, add a splash of white wine when deglazing. Can substitute chicken broth for beef broth.
