- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup cornstarch
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup vegetable oil (for frying)
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- Green onions, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Mix the flour and cornstarch together in a bowl.
- Dip the chicken pieces into the beaten egg, then coat them with the flour mixture.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and fry the chicken in batches until golden and crispy.
- In a separate pan, combine soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger. Bring to a simmer and stir in sesame seeds.
- Toss the crispy chicken in the sauce until evenly coated.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.
Notes
For extra flavor, adjust the honey and garlic in the sauce. Serve with steamed rice or stir-fried vegetables.
