- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup carrots, sliced
- 1 cup peas
- 1 cup potatoes, diced
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream or chicken gravy
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp dried rosemary
- Biscuits or pastry for serving
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts into the crockpot and season with garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, dried rosemary, salt, and pepper.
- Add the sliced carrots, peas, diced potatoes, and chopped onion, distributing them evenly.
- Pour the chicken broth and heavy cream (or gravy) over the ingredients.
- Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or on high for 3–4 hours until the chicken is thoroughly cooked and tender.
- Shred the chicken in the crockpot using two forks and stir to combine with the filling.
Notes
Add fresh herbs or a splash of cream before serving to enhance flavors.
