Description

Deeply comforting slow-cooked beef and tender potatoes in a rich garlic butter sauce, perfect for family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs beef chuck roast or stew meat
  • 1.5 lbs baby potatoes
  • 6 tbsp butter, melted
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Place beef and potatoes in the slow cooker.
  2. Mix butter, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and seasonings; pour over the top.
  3. Cook on LOW for 7-8 hours or HIGH for 4 hours.
  4. Stir before serving and garnish with parsley.

Notes

For a thicker sauce, remove a cup of cooking liquid, whisk in cornstarch, and return to the slow cooker on HIGH for 5-10 minutes before serving.
