Description

A quick and easy recipe for flavorful teriyaki chicken made in a crockpot, perfect for busy days.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs chicken breasts
  • 1 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 cup carrots, sliced
  • 2 cups cooked rice or noodles
  • Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
  • Green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. Pour the teriyaki sauce over the chicken.
  3. Add broccoli and carrots on top.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is cooked through.
  5. Once done, shred the chicken in the sauce.
  6. Serve over rice or noodles.
  7. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions if desired.

Notes

For more flavor, marinate the chicken in the teriyaki sauce overnight before cooking. You can add other vegetables for extra color and nutrients.
