Ingredients

  • 1 bag frozen tater tots
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 2 cups Alfredo sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)
  • 1/2 cup frozen peas (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter or nonstick spray.
  2. In a large bowl, mix shredded chicken, Alfredo sauce, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and seasoning to taste.
  3. Spread the chicken-Alfredo mixture evenly in the baking dish.
  4. Arrange tater tots in a single layer over the chicken mixture.
  5. Evenly sprinkle shredded cheese over the tater tots.
  6. Bake for 25–30 minutes, until tater tots are golden brown and cheese is bubbly.
  7. If using peas, sprinkle them on in the last 5 minutes of baking.
  8. Let the casserole rest for 5–10 minutes before serving for easier cutting.
